Favorite Dish: Gostilna is Slovene word for taphouse, (osteria or trattoria), meaning, it is a place where one can get good and inexpensive domestic food. Inns are primarily intended for the local guests and therefore there is no fraud with food and wines or exaggerating the prices of meals.
It is always advisable to start the lunch with homemade soup, which is usually of unquestionable quality. For the second dish should be ordered meat meal. The waiter will always give a good advice on which meat is the best of a day. Whatever one choose can be sure that the meat is fresh.
With food is served local wine of the house or good Slovenian beer.
Meals are very plentiful and the prices very reasonable, between 10 to maximum 20 euros.
Gostilna p'r Kovac: Kropa
This local inn is settlet in 400 years old house in the very centre of Kropa on the right bank of the brook. The interior is practicaly a little museum with a nice collection of antiques.
