The narow valley, is divided by local people to three parts. Into Upper part ("Zgornji konec" or "Kotel") Middle part ("Srednji konec" or "Plac" and Lower part ("Spodnji konec")
From whichever direction we come to Kropa, the wa always leads us onto Middle part or "Plac"
Succursal Church of the Mother of God, is one of the most interessting baroque architectural monument in Gorenjska.This picturesque church was consecrated on 2nd July 1729. It was built in the spot where seven boys found a picture of "Mary of Merciful Heart".
The Parish Church of St. Leonard on the hill above the village, was built in 1481. Its basis is gothic. The bell tower has neogothic roof, covered in slates. The interior was made by artists of 18th, 19th and 20th century: Matija Bradaska, Miha Males, Tyrolse painter Josef Plank, Henrieta Langus, Ivana Kobilica, Janez K. Potocnik, Jozef Subic, Leopold Layer, Ferdinand Stuffesser; Ignacij Ahrer and Peter Janezic
Ironworkers' houses are mostly two floors building fronting upon the stream and the road, and backsides are usualy leand onto steep hill. I noticed that the windows are almost always so small.

From the walls of the church, there is a beautiful view of the settlement caugh into the narrow valley and into another picturesque church. This is a Succursal Church of the Mother of God
