The easiest way to come to Lasko is by train. Lasko lies on railway line from Maribor to Zidani Most (and further to Ljubljana or Zagreb). It takes about 1.25 hours from Ljubljana to Lasko by train. Trains operate frequently. International trains usually don't stop at Lasko so get out at Celje (11 km away) and take local bus or train (10-15 min).
Lasko can be reached by taxi from Celje and taxi shouldn't be too expensive.
There is local bus line Celje - Lasko - Rimske Toplice - Hrastnik.

Sports hall "Tri lilije" that can host up to 3000 spectators was built during 1990-es for Pivovarna Lasko basketball team (Pivovarna Lasko = Lasko brewery). Before 1990-es Lasko basketball team used to be a local team playing in 2nd regional Slovenian league and players were people from Lasko. But after disintegration of Yugoslavia good players from other parts of Yugoslavia became available and Lasko brewery started bringing them to Lasko. This way Lasko basketball team became strong team in European terms but basketball players are not from Lasko anymore.
