ZBILJE is a small village outside Ljubljana in the direction toward MEDVODE - KRANJ. It is one of many lakes Slovenia has that is closest to the capital. It is a popular destination for families with children during spring and summer. There are plenty of opportunities to spend a day here - walking around the lake, watching at swans that are here, renting a boat or just sitting on the terrace of an inn that is by the lake.

12 km north of Ljubljana there is very nice lake where you can hire a boat. You can also feed swans which are very domesticated.
