Cathedral Of St. Nicholas
This a magnificent building visible from all over the city. The interior is simply breathtaking- covered in frescoes and gold leaf. People take photographs inside but I think that is a bit disrespectful towards the local people when they are trying to prey. Even if like me you are not religious, this is a great place to get some peace and quite and to do some thinking. There was a group with flutes and a harp when we were there, it was very moving due to the Cathedral's good acoustics! The photograph was taken from half way up Castle Hill.
Ljubljana Chatedral dates from 1700 to 1708. It was designed by architect and painter, Andrea Pozzo in Baroque style.
On my photo you can see a cupola and two bell towers
There's a nice church called St. Nikolaus, right by Town Hall. It's cool because of the sculpture on the door and the nice colors they use to decorate the place. Here is a closeup photo of the door.
