This is the central square in Ljubljana where everything seems to be going on. It is close to everything - a very good starting point for exploring Ljubljana. People meet here and street traders gather to sell thier goods. The Triple Bridge crosses the river from the square. In the evenings there is also live music and in the day some very good buskers. Along the bank of the river, right once you are over the triple bridge, you will also find lots of stalls which sell good souveniers and also food and drinks. I think it depends on the time of year but while we were there we bought roast chestnuts, hot chocolate or mulled wine evrytime we walked past! There is also a monument in the square to Slovenia's great hero - the poet and political activist France Preseren.

now she has her statue and this one look the statue of her love on the main place.

This is the most central square of the city, and is dedicated to the Slovenian poet France Preseren [statue].
The pink baroque monument is the well known Franciscan Churh.

You can find it on Preseren Square. You can't really miss it - just look at the colour. It was built in the 17. century.
Services are held daily in the morning and afternoon.
