There are carefully laid out walking paths along the Lake and all are signposted....Another pleasant walk is the old road to POSTAJA and then across Stopec back to Most na Soci.In POSTAJA is an interesting site: a monument to soldiers from the FIRST WORLD WAR.....Very worthwhile, the walk and visiting the monument....more

it was time to look out for a fine place to have dinner....
The day had been long and exciting so.....this PRESA was a place that suited us: very friendly service, very correct service and the food, what more can I say then that it was great!
We just asked the owner to bring us whatever he thought best but no pizza today...
Favorite Dish: I love the beef-soup....a wonderful sole and a lovely ice cream....
If you need to get from Lake Bohinj towards the Soca river valley, you can take the train from Bohinjska Bistrica. The train goes through a 6 km tunnel and saves you a huge detour. I dont fish myself but i knw there is beautifull fisharea look at the url....On the picture below Most na Soca village near a bridge, my son likes to "snorkel".and in this area i saw people bathing with their swimsuits on and bringing shampoo!Maybe they didnt have shower at home i dunno....more
we did a boattripour on the river Soci with a very friendly skipper who also seemed to be the guide for a climb in the mountains. He was a very nice man, he gave me roses on my birthday wowwww :-)) He picked the flowers himself and we became goods friend because he is also from the slavic nations like my mam, i guess that bondsmore
Most na Socii have been there in 1990 before the problems in 1992.When i was there i spoke with some guy who told me there would be many problems in 1 or 2 years. i didnt understand this at that time but afterwards i did. Slovenia is very beautifull and people are very nice once you get to know them better after a few days. we stayed at a nice...more
