Beware that if Slovenia has a major tourist destination, this is it right here - which shouldn't be a reason to cancel your visit, but beware. Might need to make hostel reservations in advance in height of the season.

Though Savica Falls are very pretty, gushing some 60 meters down into a narrow gorge. They not only charge 300 SIT (okay, okay, it's only $1.25), they neglect to tell you until you've hiked about 2 hours! Yeah, well in Slovenia, that's about as much of a tourist trap as you will find. Read: it's worth the money.

Bled is very crowded at weekends. If you come by car be prepared to trafic jams on the way to Ljubljana.
