We stopped by the tourist information office to find a place to eat and noticed that they had computers for general use with free internet. I read later that many tourist offices have free internet so it can't hurt to ask if you are at one. We spent a few minutes checking on our email to make sure there were no crisises back home and then headed out for lunch.
Chamois lives above wood border and comes down to the valley only in wintertime. But many of them persevere on high mountains.In the last century they come lower because many animals as wolves were exterminated.

The small village of Ribicev laz marks the position where tour of the Bohinj Lake starts. The old stone bridge stands where the lake-water ends, becoming a river of Savinja.It is hard to say weather the mornings or twilights the most beautiful part of the days are to visit this enchanting beauty.
...The best memories...from all the photos that I put down below, are watching the sceneries around Lake Bohinj. If I had the time, I would love to make a circle around the lake by walking....just like I did in Lake Bled.I managed to walk a quarter of the perimeter of the lake but still the photos that I took show the perfect colours of Lake Bohinj in June...
Bohinj is one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia and Europe. The lake and all the mountains look very scenic and it should be not missed on a trip through Slovenia----------------------------------------------------------------------- There are three places in Bohinj, which could be of interest for tourists:The lake and the village of Bohinj with its wonderful church ....and the "Slap Savica" (Savica-waterfall) which is located behind of Bohinj in the Julian Alps.You can see more of this places in the "Must-See-Activities", except the church of Bohinj because it was closed when I was there and completely restored.
We're on top of one peak of Mt. Vogel, and you can see Lake Bohinj below. It is 4km long, so we are a good distance high. It was nice, but a little chilly as there was snow and ice on the ground. But, well worth the trip up here...
We got off the bus before the lake, and ended up walking the 4km to Mt. Vogel. I love seeing low lying clouds hovering above the lake... It was a very peaceful day in a beautiful area. I have to return someday...

..I love this photo because it looks like some dwellings of the fairy tales books that we love to read...Instead, we could see people lying on the grass enjoying the lake....
