It's not really a tourist trap, but it's my highschool called I. gimnazija v Celju. It's one of the oldest schools in Slovenia (1808). Sometimes it's a living torture, but I got used to it.
Fun Alternatives: Have I got an other choice?
the old man and his grapes
There really are no `tourist` traps in Celje unless you count being `trapped` into picking some grapes. Tanja`s grandfather certainly didn`t seem to think of it that way. The old man could not wait to get out there and despite poor mobility and countless warnings to sit down, he just was dying to get his hands on the grapes and help out and this in turn made me realize that maybe this wasn`t so bad afterall.
You might feel intimidated and lonely since there are not many tourists in this town.
I'd say it's a ghost town, but that would be bit too much ;-)
Fun Alternatives: Take a friend with you!
Have seen no traps, instead...
Have seen no traps, instead take a look at beautiful church on the bank of Savinja river, opposite to the Old Town of Celje.
