Bar Da Noi is a favorite hangout for the 20´s crowd in Piran, but many other people come by too, especially when they have live music which is around once a week in the summer season.
The bar has both indoor and outdoor seating and is right by the sea.
There is free wifi and a computer you can use to surf the internet.
The place also has a dart board for those who like that.
the music style is mostly rock and during the day the music is not very loud but the volume tend to go up in the evening when the party gets going.
Dress Code: anything goes.
lot´s of people actually come there in their swinsuits as it´s next to the sea.
Next to the mentioned Nightclub there's a bar, that closes pretty late, for the town, that is. We went there twice, it has a big terrace next to the sea, and one of the days fwe got a live jazz concert. Not bad.
However, late at night, it's just a bar with some locals and very few foreigners.
Wasn't in Piran during the night, but this bar on the top looks like interesting place to stay in the hot summer evenings.
Being on the top of the building, it offers panoramic view of the city, besides, there must be a lot of refreshing air up there due to a breeze coming from the direction of the sea.
When the weather is great every living soul will stay at the PROMENADE.
This is separated from the Adriatic by heaps of enormous pieces of rock, put there at random and thus offering nice places to sit, to lean, to lie down.....
that depends in what mood you are that particular evening.
But don't close your eyes: the sunsets can be so grandiose......softly, sloftly the round red ball will disappear, sink into the sea as a woman who is afraid that the water will be too cold and who slowly, slowly, centimeter for centimeter goes down to in the end disappear completely.....
The after-glow is visible for a long, long time, colouring sky and clouds!
In this place I fell in love... in love with a wonderful wine: I remember walking in, sitting down and ordering a glass of prosecco. The barman looked at me, intensely, and said slowly and softly: I have something better than prosecco, trust me. Needless to say, I was tempted - and agreed. The glass came, I tasted it, and i thought I had tasted heaven's nectar: srebrna radgonska peniha! It was the first of many other glasses - and of a perfect night out
Dress Code: definitely informal
In Piran sorry to disappoint you there is very little night life. Yeah there are some bars open but I would strongly recommend you to spend the night in Portoroz (near Piran about 2 km) or perhaps Koper (20 km from Piran).
Anywhere along the waterfront.
Enjoy either eating a typical late evening meal or just drinks while the salt air breezes make the outdoor cafes the most enjoyable place to spend your evenings.
