coceng Says: I reached Smlednik by bus from Ljubljana. It is about 17 km from the capital of Slovenia.If you have your own transport, it would be much better. The public trasports are scarce to/from the capital.Hitch-hike is a good & possible way if you want to be adventurous.

Public Transport Are Scarce...
coceng Says: Just a warning that public transport back to Ljubljana are scarce. Like 2 or 3 buses per day only. One in the morning & one in the early evening. No good huh ?That would give you a chance to hitch-hike ! It's safe 'cos in Slovenia, everubody seems to do that !
