In the house, where Ivan Grohar was born, there is an art gallery now. There are exhibuted Grohar's paintings.
Once a week, there is organized drawing lessons. In short - much to see and much to do.

Nowadays, it is renovated and the center of art and cultural events in Sorica.

Very frequent sight in slovene countryside is a drying -frame. Some of them are single, like this one, others are double. Doubles are more spacious, and in good old times rack waggons found place under.

I've chosen the way via Skofja Loka and Zelezniki.
The village is very appropriate for spending your holidays there.

The access to this gem of villages is feasible from three directions:
-from Ljubljana - via Skofja Loka and Zelezniki
-from Gorenjska - via Bohinj or Kranj
and
-from Primorska - via Cerkno or Baska Grapa

If you proceed your way towards Bohinj, you'll come across this pretty log cabin. . You can enjoy great view here, you can get some refreshment. From here, leads a cableway up to the mountain, and in winter time you can enjoy in ski sports.
