Piran is a charming little medivial town, which is situated at the cape of the Piran peninsula. Its narrow streets and tight houses are a special charm of the town. Piran is actually one large museum with rich culture heritage. Absolutely worth to visit.

Bled

by bijo69

Lake Bled and the village of the same name are certainly a main tourist attraction of Slovenia. The lake isn't very large, the walk around it takes only about 1,5h and rewards you with great views. On an islet in the lake is a little church which you can visit either by rowing there yourself or by getting on one of the gondolas. The village of Bled is looked over by a castle dating back to the 11th century. There is a small museum inside, but the best thing is the view of the lake from there. The castle is open from 8am-5pm from November to April, 8am-8pm from May to October and admission is 1200 SIT
