    Sebenje village, uncircled with mountains, is known upon ski jumps, There are three of them. A grandson of my brother, 9 years old is one of many young enthusiast of ski jumping. He is pretty good in this sport, and I admire his courage.

    In the neighbourhood of Trzic, there is a village Sebenje, known after ski jumps. During the winter time "fearless eagles" have ski jumping on the snow covered ski jumps. During the other seasons of the year, a plastic ski jumps are in use.

    From Trzic, towards to the mountain pass Ljubelj, leads a road winding uphill in a series of long hairpin bends. If you are lucky enough you can notice a steinbock on the rocky slope.Behind the border cross, there is a skiing resort - Zelenica.

    Memorial part Mauthausen is located on the place of a former worker's concentration camp. It was the only concentration camp during the second world war in Slovenia. The French, Poles, Russians and Yugoslavs were imprisioned in the camp. They lived and worked in terrible conditions, they digged out a 1,5 km tunnel through a rocky mass.

    Neuhaus Castle is located at the top of the low hill, just above the old city core. Supposedly, the castle dated back to 1320. During the ages, ownership has been changed many times. The fire in 1811 didn't connive neither the castle. After that, a new castle was built by count Radetzky.

    Strolling up and down the main road in the old city core, I admired the beautiful buildings with a tuoch of former times. I must admit, this was the first timeI visited the old part of Trzic, although I've passed Trzic many times.

    The Kurnik House has preserved the most authentic appearance since the end of the 18th century. The stone ground floor, wooden second floor and picturesque shingled roof conceals the floor plan of a typical Gorenjska home.

    Trzic is famous by the shoes industry. Every year in September, there is a fair "Sustarska nedelja" ("Shoemakers Sunday") where the tradition of shoemakers is presented. Tradesmen sell their good at over 300 stalls. During the day, there are many cultural entertaining and etnographic events.
