Favorite thing: The old fishing port has now been rebuilt, and has now become one of the major sports harbours on the Mediterranean, and there are no remnants of the original village to be found, although there are still some ruins from the earlier Roman occupation.

Fondest memory: This picture, taken at the end of the beach, before the harbour, shows the golden, sandy beach, where a game of volleyball was underway. Just in front of Mary, and behind the camera, is a Burger King. We were waiting for our Burgers, which Jaymes had gone to buy. Good boy!

Favorite thing: Erected as a monument to all fisherman, this impressive sculpture of a fisherman casting his net, is located in front of the Plaza del Remo. It can be seen on the Paseo on the way to Benalmadena. This area has long been known for its fishing industry and boasts some of the freshest and great variety of fish.
