During the Holy Week (Semana Santa), the statues which are kept in the church are taken out to the streets for the processions. Holy Week / Semana Santa is held during March or April. I must say that they really don´t attract me but for visitors to Spain they must be interesting. Have a look at the photos for the Holy week processions in Competa.
