Favorite thing: Visit the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianicos (the castle of the Spanish Kings). The gardens are breathtaking (especially the presentation - when you walk into the gate you don't see anything of the gardens, but once you walk a bit forward there's this huge space that opens up in front of you).
Fondest memory: The city itself. It's very homey, the people are nice, and the streets are impeccably clean.

Favorite thing: The Mezquita opens at 08.30 and until 10.00 you can get in for no charge. Best of all, no tour groups are allowed in until after 10.00.

Favorite thing: The Communist Party seems to be alive and well in Cordoba. The sign on their building didn't look weathered or old.
