The restaurant is decorated with pictures of famous toreros, bull farmers and many other famous related with toros.
The food is not bull, but service is great and food is very very very good

The restaurant itself is completely tiled with the typical azulejos, but you normally eat in the patio that has a little fountain in the middle and plants all around. The ambience is magnificent and the food is excellent.
Ask for the local specialities and you can't go wrong!
Prices are good too, which is an extra advantage.

Favorite Dish: Just ask the waiter for the local dishes, whether you prefer fish or meat you will find something here.
I had a pasta with mushrooms, my husband the typical porc "churrasco", both delicious

We found this restaurant recommended in a few different guides so we thought we'd give it a shot. Luckily it was about a 5 minute walk from our hotel so it was very convenient. The service was great, the food was out of this world and the price was just right. We let the waiter pick our wine and we got a great ¬8 bottle of local wine.

Favorite Dish: I can't remember the Spanish name for this dish but it basically consists of spinach and garbanzo beans that are kind of stewed together. We also had the potatoes, gazpacho and anchovies and a wonderful bottle of wine. This place comes highly recommended.

La Almudaina

The owners of this historic restaurant near the Alcázar deserve as much credit for their renovations of a decrepit 15th-century palace as they do for the excellent cuisine produced in their bustling kitchen. Fronting the river in the old Jewish Quarter, La Almudaina is one of the most attractive eateries in Andalusia, where you can dine in one of the lace-curtained salons or on a glass-roofed central courtyard. Specialties include salmon crepes; a wide array of fish, such as hake with shrimp sauce; and meats, such as pork loin in wine sauce. For dessert, try the not-too-sweet chocolate crepe.

El Caballo Rojo

Within walking distance of the Mezquita in the old town, this restaurant is the most popular in Andalusia, and except for La Almudaina , it remains the best in Córdoba. The place has a noise level no other restaurant here matches, but the skilled waiters seem to cope with all demands. Stop in the restaurant's popular bar for a pre-dinner drink, then take the iron-railed stairs to the upper dining room, where a typical meal might include gazpacho, a main dish of chicken, then ice cream and sangria. (The ice cream, incidentally, is likely to be homemade pistachio.) Try a variation on the usual gazpacho--almond-flavored broth with apple pieces. In addition to Andalusian dishes, the chef offers both Sephardic and Mozarabic specialties, an example of the latter being monkfish prepared with pine nuts, currants, carrots, and cream. Real aficionados come here for the rabo de toro (stew made with the tail of an ox or a bull). The cookery is robust and flavorsome.

Dining in Cordoba is more expensive than in Sevilla, probably because Cordoba is a more tourist place.

This tapas is less tourist and the price of food are more reasonable, although also located in the Jewish quarter.

Seafood at least for me. Although my friend had the tenderloin and both were delicious. This restaurant is really close to the mosque. In fact it is right behind it if you are walking from the river. It is a little hidden but most locals know where it is and I am sure will be happy to point you in the direction. In fact the locals recommended it. A lovely restaurant for fine dining.

Favorite Dish: The only 2 I tried the Swordfish (just mouthwatering) and the tenderloin. Both were incredible.

Excellent food and service. Like it. It gets crowded starting at about 9pm. I think it is cheap as compared to restaurants in Singapore for the excellent quality of the food and impeccable service of the waiter and waitresses. It opens at 8.30pm.

Favorite Dish: Everything we tried are delicious. Probably we asked the waiters for 'recomiendo'.
