Urban buses in El Puerto de Santa Maria are all about 60 cents no matter where you go. Therefore you don't have to state where you want to get off to the driver when you buy the ticket. You only have to say the number of tickets you wish if you are buying more than one. You buy tickets on the bus from the driver.

Get the 35 to Valdelagrana, Fuentebravia, Las Redes, Vistahermosa and the train station. Get the C1 or C2 to El Paseo (the shopping mall).

  • El Puerto's train station

Here is a photo of the train station. Be warned, the clock never works!!!!!

It can be found at the entrance to town. It's only a short distance to the centre. So if you arrive here and want to go to the centre of the town: walk left.

  • How to get to the beach by bus

by blint Written Nov 20, 2005

Basically to get to the beaches at Valdelagrana, Vistahermosa, las Redes, El Ancla or Fuentabravia take the number 3 bus.

Valdelagrana is the housing complex just out of town heading towards Cadiz and all the others are heading towards Rota.

You can catch the 35 from the train Station and Plaza de Toros amongst others.

    The buses are green.
