STROLL ALONG THE PROMENADE ( PASEO MARITIMO)

The Promenade PASEO MARITIMO spans practically the entire coastline of Fuengirola, from the area of Sohail Castle to Santa Fe de los Boliches. Los Boliches was originally a fishing village which, thanks to tourism, has grown at an incredible rate. Its originsgo back to the 14th and 15th centuries. At around this time, Genoan merchants were allowed to set up businesses here for the export of salt fish. They fished from vessels called "Boliches" hence the name for the village.
Strolling along this promenade and many other fabulous promenades in Spain, is Hans and my very favourite things to do.

"El Paseo Maritimo" (Marine stroll ) of Fuengirola is newly reform, its big, long and beautiful ... of about 7 kilometres. Wonderful to walk and walk and have sun and, at knight walk ... its very iluminated. Along its 7 kilometres you will find all kind of restaurants on the side of the beach (Chiringuitos) or at the other side.

Not sure how many km of Promenade, as I had never walked the whole it lol

It is something I love from this Coast, all the cities we have nice long promenades to walk along, or practise any sport.
