Due to the university there is an abundance of night life, though I was with family so all we experience was the fantastic restaurants. I recommend easter to catholics but to anyone else i reccomend you steer well clear as the small streets are packed and you get so pissed off you could pull out that cheap knife you purchased earlier and, well, use it.
All of the restaurants comply to southern spanish culture and there are no non spanish eateries.

The fact that the city has its own University means that Granada has a vibrant nightlife.
However, during the summer Granada is much quieter because the students are on holidays.

The Flamenco Granadino is quite different from the Flamenco Sevillano.
You must go to,Sacromonte to see the performance Gypsies (Gitanos). A minibus will come to pick you up from your hotel.

Throughout Spain the Tapas are great and the traditional drink is Sangria, a mix of red wine, dry gin and fruit. The one in Granada was particularly very strong!!

    Great Sangria!
