Obviously, the big attraction in Granada is The Alhambra. It is impressive from every angle and in every way. Don't miss any of the three main parts!

You must go see the La Alhambra which is a 1000 year old palace constructed by the muslims who once ruled Spain.

When visiting Granada, you must plan one day for the Alhambra.
The Alhambra is a famous arab castle. More famous, than Granada itself, probably.

The gardens of the Alhambra are beautiful. Try to go on a sunny day. (Our day there was cloudy as you see).

The Alhambra Palace is breathtaking. I love the Moorish architecture. Because of the importance of water and bathing in the Muslim religion, there are many fountains and pools in the Alhambra.

One of the beautiful fountains in the Alhambra

This is a beautiful Moorish palace. It is packed with tourists but is really worth seeing if you like this kind of thing. There are fantastic views of the city from there, too.
