Alhambra - Alcazar, Granada
This is a picture taken at the stairs to go up to the first tower at La Alcazaba. From here you can see some nice views of rest of Alhambra and also of Albaycin Quarter.
The Alcazaba (the real fortress) is the oldest part (9th century) and to this part belongs the Tower of the Sail (Torre de la Vela) from which you will have that splendid view.
Reached from the Plaza de los Aljibes, remember to have your ticket ready when you go in.
Alcazaba is the oldest part of the Alhambra, climb up the bell tower for great views over the city.
The north side of the Alcazaba.
Here are me and my friend, Raquel!!
