Skip Pans and company when you're feeling hungry. It's expensive and the servings are of disappointing size.
Fun Alternatives: Go to a local café instead and get real spanish food - cheaper, better and with a lot cosier atmosphere.

The walls of the Alhambra are full of decoration and writings where we can read sentences as (Only God is the winner) or poems of the various poets as , Ibn al-Yayyab, Ibn al-Jatib e Ibn Zamrak

At the Comares palace, once you pass the Mexuar you enter at the Court of the Myrtles or Patio de los Arrayanes, at your left you will see the entrance to the Ambassadors? Hall.
The decoration of the walls is impressive.
They could not use imagines, so they wrote poems and coran writings.

This is at the Generalife gardens just outside the building.
I do not remember what it was exactly for, but it looks beautiful
Andalucia learnt a lot about water thanks to the Arabs, for many centuries

Close to Sala de los Dos Hermanas is this Mirador
It means Eyes of the Sultana
From here the Sultana could watch the gardens.
Also Washington Irving stayed here during his visit.

Beware of the gypsies to be found in cities like Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba and Segovia. Your experience with them may range from a harmless palm reading which the gypsy expects to be handsomely tipped to having your wallet pick-pocketed from you.

Beware of gypsy palm readers in the tourist market areas. My students and I got caught unawares at some shops near the Capilla Real. If they offer you a 'gift' don't take it--they'll grab your hand and rattle off your fortune. Then they'll expect you to pay for the reading. If you refuse to fork over the pesetas, you'll have maldiciones ringing in your ears as you hurry away. It kind of reminds me of that Stephen King movie 'Thinner' . . . yikes.

The Alhambra. It looks quite run down (I think they're doing renovations on it right now), and one feels like he's on a conveyor belt when he goes in. There are tonns of tourists and you're pretty much moved through the place with the current. You should probably still see it. It did play a role in Spanish history and the size of it is very impressive, however, be prepared for the hoards of tourists that you will encounter there.
