    Use the town tourist bus

The tourist bus links all the main attractions including the Equestrian School, the Alcazar, the Cathedral and the Bodegas. There are eleven stops on the circular tour. A good starting point is Plaza del Arenal.

Tickets are valid all day, so you can hop on and off as you please.

    The Bus Station

by hawkhead Updated Jan 26, 2015

The bus station is a great concrete brutalish building, right next to the train station. Inside it resembles an abandoned public underpass.

There are some timetables behind glass on the wall to the buses. Otherwise, there are four windows which issue tickets for buses going to destinations - you need to know where you want to go to pick the correct window. Each window has schedules displayed.

A very depressing place. The area with the ticket windows has just that, the ticket windows. No information board about buses arriving or departing. There is no cafe, not even a snack bar vending machine.

The loos are to the left of the entrance and are free and clean.

It's main attraction is that it is next to the train station and that it is easy to find a taxi from the rank outside.

After reaching Jerez, i took a bus of Linesur company to Seville. The bus was in a good condition and the trip was 1 hour 10 minutes. The one way ticket was 5.7 Euros.
