It's not difficult to walk around Jerez if you have a map or know the city. Though I took a taxi to get from the train station to the fairgrounds of the horse fair, I walked back to the train station at the end of the day.

    Very small center

You don't really need a vehicle of any kind in Jerez d.l. Frontera. Everything you want is in walking distance.
But if you do want to ride around and sort of get your bearings, or because of the heat which can be extreme
the little tourist 'train' is fun.

You can catch it at the tourist point on Plaza Arenal.
There are three different routes, run twice daily each. One in the morning and then repeats in the afternoon.
Exact hours of each route are posted at the tourist point.

Sevilla to Jerez de la Frontera

Before my trip, while planning it I was having problems finding a bus from Sevilla to Jerez d.l. Frontera.

Among other ways and means I googled the Jerez tourist info office.

A couple of days later I got a very nice email from them with the complete listing of all the companies and the schedules of each of them - the hours (with prices) - that travel from Sevilla to Jerez de la Frontera.

Strongly recommend using the site if you are planning on travelling to Jerez!

Congratulations to a very useful and successful tourist office site!
