Bar Finlandia: TAPAS BAR
SuperTapas, great food.
Is one of the most known Tapas Bar in La Linea among the locals, in fact is very hard to find foreign.
Sorry I dont have too many information, is not easy to have them.
However this is a must!
My mum and I were out shopping one afternoon and this tapas bar was in the shopping mall. It wasn't the best place we've been to but we were starving and needed to sit down! A tapas bar needs to have the right ambiance...it needs to be family run and owned, be in a very small location and needs to be dirty! When I say dirty, I dont mean unhygenic, I mean look like lots of people frequent it! So you want to see screwed up paper napkins on the floor, breadcrumbs at the bar and beer swilling Spanish men spending half the day there! It all adds to the atmospheric pleasure of being in Spain!!! Oh and the louder the children shout around you, the better the food and coffee will be! Why? Because the parents are having such a great time, they don't even control their kids anymore!!!!
This particular restaurant wasn't good because the food didn't really have any taste and the service was pretty bad. There were only two girls working there it seemed but they were so slow and totally uninterested in any of the customers. But like I said, we were hungry and so we had to go there!
Favorite Dish: Well when i go to tapas bars, I usually just have the same thing......very predictable, but very yummy!
Albondigas en salsa de tomate
Pinchitos con ajillo
Bocadillo con lomo y ajillo
Oh my goodness, it making my mouth water just THINKING about all this glorious food! It is now up to you, to try and work out what those delicious dishes are!
And you always need to accompany your meal with either:
Tinto de verano or

Restaurant Andalucia Diner: 24 hours hunger can be solved
If you are the typical tourist here, and walking all over the Rock, you will no doubt generate a bit of an apetite.
However, if you have acclimated to the Spanish schedule of eating, then most restaurants in Gibraltar will have closed their kitchens hours before you realized you were hungry.
There is a solution, Andaluz Diner, hard to miss since it is decorated as a retro-50's American Diner. It is open 24 hours a day.
Favorite Dish: No particular dish earns ratings above the rest, it is a diner afterall.
Dunia: Fantastic Moroccan food in La Linea
Been here a quite a few times now. Great little Moroccan restaurant hidden away in the back-streets of La Linea. Comfortable, friendly, and great food. Pretty good value for money too.
As a bonus, they also have a menu in English (which is great if you don't speak Spanish).
Favorite Dish: The tajines they serve are great. I've tried Chicken, lamb and the kefta, and all have been very good. Their cous-cous dishes are also very good.

Gold: Gold Indian - Perhaps the best on the coast!
The Gold Indian restaurant located on the Paseo Martimo eastern beach sea front, is perhaps the best Indian restaurant I have eaten in in the entire of Spain.
The choice of currys and quality is absolutely outstanding, excellent customer service. (English speaking)
I come back again and again, and it is always the same. Proper indian currys with thick sauce. The price is pretty good too for Spain. A good curry and drinks + rice, can work out at about 10 - 15 eur per head.
Only drawback is that there is no out door terraced seating. But the climate of La Linea, especially the eastern facing sea front usually means that a lot of days are too windy.
Favorite Dish: Hot Lamb Vindaloo has to be done.
La Pesquera: Paellas Time
Nice and elegant restaurant.
Great service, nice food and generous portions.
Favorite Dish: Try paella, as many kind as you need....
Patagonia TAPAS: DON'T MISS THIS
This is a great Argentinian tapas bar.
Excellent and friendly staff. Menu available also in english.
My personal favourite place to eat.
