They are located by the town hall and wind up to Alcazaba castle. The gardens at the bottom has ponds, and waterfowl, in addition to a rose garden theme. It is a continuation of the Parque de Malaga, a long pedestrian boulevard going along the water edge that has many palm trees, and flora, which is a wonderful place for strolling. the gardens are named after a former mayor, Luis Alonzo, of course, and they were designed for layout by an architect named Strachen in 1945.
The Pedro Luis Alonso gardens are by the City Hall of Malaga and they are beautiful. Their design is both Hispanic/Muslim and French and they have got 3-4 ponds, statues and swans and the gardens looks so regal somehow. The architect is Guerrero Strachan designed these gardens in 1945 and they were named after the Mayor at this time. The gardens are next to Alcazaba fortress and together they form such beautiful symmetry somehow. Very lovely.
This garden is designed by Guerrero Strachan. Its one of the purest meditteranian gardens. He also designed most of malagas other historical gardens.
