    MARBELLA BEACHES

    Marbella's Beaches

Favorite thing: Among the Beaches you will find in Marbella are the Playa de Venus - Playa de Bajadilla - Playa Fontanilla (next to Port of Marbella) - Nagueles - El Faro - La Venus. If you just want to sit and relax on the beach, you can rent umbrellas or rent a lounge chair for the day at 4 Euros. At any given time people were sun-bathing, swimming, walking along the shore collecting shells -simply enjoying MARBELLA'S BEACHES. Also where there were restaurants, you could watch sardines smoking in little sand-filled boats, being tenderly cared for by the chef.
Another fun thing is that some of the showers on the beaches are elephant-shaped with swimmers showering under their trunks. What a grerat idea!

Favorite thing: One of things that make Marbella such a great place to visit is of course its sea side location apart from the good weather year around. Wel almost year around, it can get too hot in august according to inside information.
But now there was simply excellent weather to enjoy and a great boulevard for making a stroll.

    a nice spot

Favorite thing: There something very tipical for spanish people, is the "paseo" afternoon, people get dress and walk along the promenade or main street of their cities.

We have that use here too, and all the year you will find lots of people walking along the paseo until late at night, or doing sports during the day (all year)

    Las Chapas Beach

Favorite thing: Between Guadalmina and Cabopino there are beautiful beaches on a length of 26 kilometers .

The many small bars, Chiringuitos, located at the seaside offer the possibility to alternate a bath with enjoying of the delicious meal. some are expensive, but not all of them.

I do not go often, but for restuarant tips go further

Fondest memory: Here is a list of the names of each:

GUADALMINA BEACH in San Pedro de Alcantara, next to the Guadalmina urbanization.

LINDA VISTA BEACH in San Pedro Alcantara, next to the Linda Vista Urbanization

    SAN PEDRO DE ALCANTARA BEACH

    NUEVA ANDALUCIA BEACH

    PUERTO BANUS BEACH

    RÍO VERDE BEACH

    EL ANCON BEACH

NAGÜELES BEACH at theGolden Mile of Marbella, next to the Marbella Club Urbanization

LA FONTANILLA BEACH at the urban area of Marbella. The whole beach is close to the pedestrian promenade and it is next to the Port in Marbella.

EL FARO BEACH West of the Port in Marbella, more concretely between the Port entrance and the breaker, in the center of Marbella.

LA VENUS BEACH, close to the Marbella Sports Port and finalizing at the limit with the Represa River.

LA BAJADILLA BEACH close to the fishing port and neighborhood. Very good fish restaurants there for an excellent price.

EL CABLE BEACH nest to the fishing Port to the Rio Real River.

EL PINILLO BEACH next to the Los Monteros Urbanization, with golden sand forming natural dunes.

LOS MONTEROS BEACH, next to the Bahia de Marbella Urbanization

    REAL DE ZARAGOZA BEACH

LAS CHAPAS BEACH (my favorite, see photo) is situated in a semi urban area, next to the urbanization of the same name.

Look for the RANCHON CUBANO (cuban restuarant for nice mojitos)

LAS CAÑAS BEACH next to the Marbesa Urbanization.

ARTOLA BEACH, Due to its location and characteristics, this beach is situated in a protected sand dune area, known as LAS DUNAS DE ARTOLA, next to the Cabopino Leisure Port.

    Grey Skies and Beaches!

Favorite thing: The Costa del Sol was still taking a battering from the gales of the previous weekend when we visited. You can see from the grey skies, and the general appearance of the beach that the weather wasn't at its best. But, from this view, you can see it's an attractive little corner of Marbella.

    map-puertobanus

Favorite thing: Most of us do like the idea to sit down at a terrace, relax and enjoy the passers-by. Well, this center of the Jet-Set and Show Business offers beautiful boulevards, promenades, parks and gardens, as well as those romantic narrow lanes in the best Moorish or Andalusian tradition that gave Marbella's unmistakable its personality.

Though that city's personality pales by its moving capacity of tourists. Take the shadow for the substance and zoom in at an individu. You'll be amazed by its motivation to be seen and to see. At the South of Spain, Marbella offers you this opportunity. To be or not to be,... wasn't that the question ... ???

Fondest memory: Well, enjoying your long drink, after a hard workin' day, and watching the passer-by's stands the best chance at Puerto Banus. Go for a window shopper's dream with several of the world renowned fashions houses, in addition some small, interesting shops and boutiques you can't miss. It was a pity we couldn't enjoy the nightlife buzzes at Puerto Banus. Puerto Banus, I do come back in future time ... for the perfect holiday conditions this time ;-)

    Elephant shower

Favorite thing: I couldn't figure out quite why there were elephants stationed at various points on the beach but after checking several of them out, I realized they were showers. How very clever!

Favorite thing: Everyone loves beaches, and this one is really no exception. The only problem was that we didn't really have much time to spend here. From what we saw, the beach is really nice.
