If you're serching for big shops, restaurants and entertaiment in Puerto Banus, that's your place. I usually come here even from Estepona, because it's very near. There are lots of shops, there is free wi-fi and there are a wide variety of cinemas screens. There is an enterteiment centre with bowling too.

    It's the average.

    Lo normal.

    Ricardo Soriano Avenue - Avenida
  • Tip Rating:
  • The main avenue in Marbella (the ancient road) go across all the city and it has diferents names. It's called Ramón y Cajal where it pass next to the old town. The next name, in the way to Puerto Banús, is Ricardo Soriano. It's the business area and there are lots of clothes shops in this area, mainly for women.

  • Tip Rating:
  • It's the biggest commercial area in town with a wide variety of national and international firms of fashion, shoes, home equipment and books. For example FNAC, Leroy Merlín, Alcampo (Auchan), Zara, Mango... are placed here. In addition there are some restaurans (but they're not the best), cinemas and bowling.

    Jamon Serrano and wine!
  • Tip Rating:
  • You can't leave Marbella without doing some shopping!

My favourite items that I never come home without are the " jamon pata negra " ( cured spanish ham from black pig )and spanish red wine ( I specially love the "Sangre de Toro").
You can buy these at a local supermarket, there are several thoughout Marbella or at the El Corte Ingles, a well known shopping center close to Puerto Banus.
Here you can also find all kind of things, from clothes, designer brands, furniture, crafts.

VARIOUS SHOPS: WONDERFUL SHOPS IN MARBELLA
  • Tip Rating:
  • The Old Town of Marbella is a treasure-trove of WONDERFUL SHOPS like Ceramica San Nicolas and Artesania Espanola offering beautiful hand-crafted ceramics. La Paz offering a variety of religious articles.. Unique to Marbella is the Proud Scout which carries a fantastic selection of American Indian Crafts with genuine turquoise silver jewellery. Other shops and boutiques offer souvenirs, jewellery, clothing & accessories, shoes, sporting goods, etc. Kat and I had a great time exploring all the little narrow streets and alleyways where little boutiques were tucked away.

    Shoping at the local market
  • Tip Rating:
  • The market at San Pedro - Marbella

A great place to do shopping, is at the markets. I’m not sure when the one in Marbella itself is, but the one in Nueva Andalucia is on Saturdays. If you want to buy fruit and vegetables cheap, the best market is in San Pedro on Thursdays. In all of these markets you have the usual “plastic” stuff, but there are also handcraft, antics and clothes.

The Old Town of Marbella contains many small shops, goods range from, art, crafts, souvenirs, boutiques, jewelry. Intersesting to walk around browsing, especially in the evenings. Be careful though, some things do seem a little overpriced.
