Parks and Gardens, Marbella

This lovely park is worth a walk through. If you get tired of the busy streets and shops, or you want a romantic stroll, come here and wander though and sit on one of the Muslim style benches. This clean park is full of well-maintained trees and flowers and is just a pretty place to see.

We will began our tour around the Old town of Marbella from this point and we will finish it here too.

It is in Ricardo Soriano, Marbella main street, here there are many different classes of trees brought from other continents.

The fount in the middle is called Virgen del Rocio and has all the "hermandades del Rocio" around.



From here cross the main street in direction to the mountain, from the traffic lights that are close to the Cafeteria Marbella.

We will head up the street till the Plaza de la Victoria at our right on the first floor is one of our favourite restaurants La Comedia, expensive but great for a special ocassion

Yes this one is unusual I have never seen one like that before, it is very different.
Very beautiful it is.
Ok ,Scott thinks he is pretty sure that this hanging flower belongs to that banana tree , so why not , we will just call it a nice hanging flower ,part of the banana tree.
(until I get the real name hehe

I don't know what they are called ,so I named them Bells ,because they look like little Bells.
They are very different and look beautiful.
So do the two ladies walking in the back of the picture, they look beautiful as well.

This wonderful place we visited with Carmen (Carmela71) is called Puente Romano,it is located on the '' Golden Mile " as it is called near Marbella,there is a 5 star Hotel Puente Romano and there are fantastic gardens here ( Jardin Japones).
This is a must see area it is fantastic.

Another nice park located between the main road and the beach. The Parque de la Constitucion houses an outdoor theatre, during the summer months many shows are available here, covering music, opera and plays. At one corner of the park is a nice cafe, nice to sit in, in the shade of the trees in the summer months.

Very picturesque, a nice Pathway is running through this area, and as you can see,a lot of different Plants & flowers everywhere.

A perfect looking area with Palm trees ,Flower beds, nice homes, nice street .
A great place for a visit.

This one I am not sure what it is called, is it a
plant or is it a flower ,I really don't know .

Nice park behind the Casco Antiguo (Old Town). It houses the Bonsai Museum. Nice gardens surrounding a lake. This interesting road bridge takes the main road through the park.
