Favorite thing: once a small fishing village by the sea now growing fast like the rest of spain still has its oldie charactor and winding white washed streets that spain is known for.
but many new buildings springing up all a round the place and not keeping in with the structure of the village yet again property developers gone mad on making a few bob
still plenty to see and do out here still got the old charm feeling of a fishing village
good restraunts - bars - cafe's - shops - night life entertainment
Fondest memory: still here still enjoying what as not been changed yet in nerja

Favorite thing: Straight around the old Spanish bars, winding down the streets to the Balcon for a great warm welcome, fantastic culture with lovely tapas and cheap drinks!
Fondest memory: I miss most the possibility of strolling around in the warm sun, before being able to enter a Spanish bar and be treated fantastically, in a town with true character.

Favorite thing: However, the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe".
Look the panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small caves and beaches below. And what about the mountains.... love them
Fondest memory: Look that views..... the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below and the mountains at the end.

Favorite thing: The heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, a great promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of a Moorish castle.
Wonderfull panoramic views of the Mediterranean (see travelogue) and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains.

Narrow streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces with geraniums...
