Spanish Theme Bar.
If you like the music of Frank Sinatra, you will like this bar. If you don't you'll hate it!
Sinatras only plays Sinatra music and is low lighted and billed as a 'romantic rendezvou'. Candles on the tables help to set the scene. This is a nice place to visit either before or after going out for a romantic meal for two.

Take your own company in with you to this underused bar.

Frank Sinatra pictures abound and the music also.

La Cabaña is a small bar that you could very easily miss albeit being on the main road down to the sea front (Avenida Castilla Perez).

This bar only apears to open in the evenings at the time of writing, from around 7pm. the owners have only had this bar arelatively short time and it is surprising that it is up for sale again already.

Spanish Cafe/Bar.
Bar Turry is located at the top of the Nerja next to the Coach Dock on the ticket booth side of the road.
This is an everyday Spanish bar without tourist frills but does have tables and chairs outside under a large canopy. Prices are much cheaper at this end of town, just €1 for a glass of good quality wine!
Snacks are available if you are a little peckish and at reasonable prices. Tapas too.
It is also very handy for a drink whilst waiting for a coach to Frigiliana, Malaga, Torrox etc. or if meeting someone coming into Nerja by coach.
Price range:
Excellent value for money on drinks and snacks at below average prices.
Atmosphere:
A very busy Spanish bar. A great meeting place and for waiting for a coach.
Theme:
A busy cafe bar without the need for a theme.
Opening hours:
Closed Sundays
Disabled notes:
Steps up to the entrance and narrow toilets.

Spanish Ice creamery/Bar.
Bar Canterero is situated beneath the Hostal Canterero in Orange Square, or to give it its proper name, Plaza Canterero.
The bar itself is clean and new but quite small inside, however, Scott, the bar owner, who is Spanish/English and speaks both languages fluently, has comfortable tables and chairs across the road and actually in the pergola surrounded square which has a large fountain at its centre. The fountain automatically switches itself off at 3pm for Siesta purposes but the bar is open until late evening.
A fantastic place for a drink or an ice cream in the sun. Parasols are provided to keep the hottest sun off and over €1000 worth of ice cream varieties are stocked.
Price range:
Very good value for money. Cheaper than most with 'al fresco' tables.
Atmosphere:
Being as most tables are outside. Take company with you. However Scott the owner is a great person to talk to if for any reason you are stuck inside the small bar.
Theme:
Inside clean and bright. No real theme. Outside you are amongst orange blossomed pergolas and in the centre there is a spectacular fountain which shuts itself off at 3pm for siesta reasons. (for people not the fountain !).
Opening hours:
Closed Mondays and exceedingly bad weather.
Disabled notes:
Level access. But althought the toilet has been fitted with wheelchair bars etc., it is too small to manouvre a chair around.
Dress Code: As you please.
