  • Perfect atmosphere. If it is summer, reserve in advance for an outdoor table by the pool for two, you can't get more romantic than this. The food is excellent. Good selection of wines.

    Undoubtedly the best Italian food in Nerja. The menu is very large covering most of Italy's diverse food but the food is also very good. Good wine list too. The staff are all Italian. The restaurant is always crowded after 8:00 pm so either come early or be prepared to wait. Seats are quite close together. Outside seating as well as inside. The standards of the staff I think have slipped a bit over the last year but the food still remains the same. Half portions of the pasta dishes are available

    When walking in the center you may drop in some cafes for a glas of Manzanilla. In this small cafe Fino was 1.20 euros.

    Nice place in 2 parts: bigger reastaurant and smaller cafeteria. You may enjoy in both places delicious breads and cakes, and wine, of course. They make tose things themselves, as far I understood.

  • Pleasant little cafe to have breakfast at with outside seating. Its attraction is that it has hot chocolate and churros, both delicious and a popular breakfast or mid-morning snack for Spaniards.

    Churros. Churros are made from dough extruded into thin tubes, these have a star shaped cross section and are several inches long. Deep fried to form loops and coated in sugar and dipped in a bowl of hot chocolate they make for a sublime start to the day that is hard to improve on.

    Only had lunch here of omelettes which was good so can't really comment on food but the view from the terrace is great. It's big and it overlooks the sea and other than large umbrellas over the tables, the sunshine has an unrestricted path to you. There's a proper restaurant inside but on the terrace there's a little bar you can sit round as well. Drink prices are average.

  • The Codfather serves British style fish and chips but in a Spanish style cafe setting. It has seating outside as well as inside and a there is a bar, you don't get that in the UK Paper tablecloth and knapkins but the fish and chips are great. Can't comment on anything else as that's all we had. Regular cod and chips in May 2005 were 7.90 Euros per portion.

    Pleasant little pizza and pasta restaurant close to the Balcon de Europa with an eclectic interior design. The pasta dishes are the restaurant's strength, very good although not sure if totally authentic. Pizzas aren't bad either. Staff are Spanish.

    The churros in La 4 Esquinos Café are the best in Nerja. The hot chocolate is divine, extremely thick and chocolately. The coffee is pretty good too. This café is well used by Spanish locals and Spanish tourists providing a noisy but great atmosphere. It's also very cheap. The churros are served up to 12.00 noon.
