We made full use of our hotel balcony at the Balcon de Europa Hotel and brought our meal from Palacio del Pollo Asado back to our room. This was probably our best view during a meal on our trip and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Are you looking for something to bring down to the beach for a picnic? Want a good hot meal but don't want to spend a lot of euros? If this is the case bring yourself over to Palacio del Pollo Asado for a fresh hot roasted chicken meal. For just €9 you can get a whole fresh roast chicken right off of the spit in addition to home made potatoes and dipping sauce (ali-oli or hot and spicy). For a bit more you can add a cold beer or soda from their refrigerator. There also sell other variations on the meal as well as 1/2 chickens all for very reasonable prices.
This was a great meal to take back to our hotel balcony overlooking the ocean.

We selected this restaurant over the dozens of other choices because they happened to have tomato soup on the menu. It was very good by the way. Restaurante Sevillano offers street side seating in addition to two floors of indoor seating and a rooftop patio. The restaurant is fairly small but they sure do pack visitors in. They offer an "early bird" special (as many of the local restaurants do) that is about €20 and comes with a starter, main course, desert and a bottle of wine. It's a great deal but as I recall it's only valid until about 8:30p.
Service is friendly and you're likely to find at least one of the wait staff speaking English if you don't speak Spanish. English menus are also available.
Favorite Dish: The hake in champagne sauce is very good and is highly recommended. For a starter I would also recommend the tomato soup which has a hint of bell pepper if I'm not mistaken. Also add a nice bottle of wine to your meal from their decent wine list. Finally leave some room for the fresh strawberries with whipped cream.

It is close to the pubs area.. (as usual i know how to go, but never remeber the names lol)
Favorite Dish: is a nice pasta palce, but nothing special, apart of ebing close to the area of going out, our friends house and our hostal, so enough reasons to go.
Also i think that a palce that locals go, must be good, and most of the people there, were locals...

here we are the 3 mosqueters, friends from Uni, that still we keep in contact as often as when can.
Placido lives ther, and has his own pub, so it is great to be there, enjoying good music (he is and will be always my favorite discjockey, as to locals about Plax)
Sandra and me always willing to go there and have fun!!

The best value lunch freshley cooked Paella in a great setting on Burriana Beach. It is very cheap and if you are still hungry you can go back for more!
The best day to go is on a Sunday when all the locals visit.
Favorite Dish: Paella

Nice place in 2 parts: bigger reastaurant and smaller cafeteria. You may enjoy in both places delicious breads and cakes, and wine, of course. They make tose things themselves, as far I understood.

When in spain you must try paella. It contains rice, king prawns, chicken, mussells, red pepper and squid. We ate ours in the local bar "san juan".
