  • Cueva de las Campanas - cave.

On our walk through the village we came across this small cave - Cueva de las Campanas. It is lovely with lights inside and a bench to sit on :)Outside the cave there were trees with pomegranates, very lovely.

  • The white village in the mountains.

It is wonderful walking through the village of Ojén. Being situated in a hill the walk is a bit steep at times. This village is so typical of Spain, white houses, colourful flowers everywhere. But there was something so special about Ojén, it was so peaceful that I almost felt like we were intruding ;) Only on the main square did I see some live....

Myself, Carmen, Stacey and Mary are sampling the...

  • Where to park?

You won't be able to park in the old village, and parking on the main road, seen here in the photo, is also very limited. Eventually we were lucky, and found a parking place, where another motorist was just leaving.. It must be worse in the summer months!
