This church was constructed in the 16th century on the site of an old mosque. The tower is of an octal shape similar to other towers in the province of Malaga. It is located in the centre of the town in the Plaza de La Constitucion.

I know that visiting a cemetery must be on most people’s no-no list on what to do on holiday, but this cemetery is quite strange due to its round shape. It was built in the 19th century, and there are two legends on why it is round in shape. The first one is that it was built on top of an existing cemetery and that as the old one was round they built the newer one round as well. The other legend is that the cemetery was built round in shape so that the dead could see each other and never have their backs to each other. You can view the cemetery from the road.
