This little place is near to the University building of Economics and Business or San Bernardo Train Station in Viapol.
It seemed to be quite popular with the people working in the area and the prices are reasonable as for 2.35€ you get your natural orange juice free with your tostada (toasted baguette) with olive oil and tomato and coffee.
There were also several Newspapers to read if you are bored.

RESTAURANTE BAR EL ATUN is located in close proximity of the most popular Seville tourist sites, however somehow it managed to be hidden from tourists.
It is another place recomanded by our hotel manager and boy, the guy knows his food.
EL ATUN is located just behind the corner from Hotel Europe so it was perfect place for a bite.
Favorite Dish: We had there small dishes (tapas), they were all delicious.

We were recommended to go to this place by our hotel manager. The restaurant is located on the "other" side of river where tourists don't go. It is a very popular place where locals go for a date, family event, or just to have a nice meal.
The place is very casual, although the service is very professional.
Place is inexpensive and honest.
Favorite Dish: We loved calamari in their own ink as well as all the other dishes you can see on our pictures.
They also have great sangria and will treat you to a free desert if you make a good impression.

YUMMY KEBABS in Sevilla for a nice price!!!
Favorite Dish: I recommend the tenera (beef) pita menu where you get a kebab, chips and a drink for 4.60 €. The kebabs are good quality for Spain and you can ask for extra spicy sauce if you wish!!!!

The concept sounded promising: a Cuban bar and restaurant in Seville. We spend quite a lot of time searching for it as it is located in a court yard and wasn't easy to access. Once we got there, we thought it was closed. No one was sat outside and the doors were closed. I decided to take a peak inside and found that it was open. We went in and were seated on a table. The deco was rather simplistic, but we decided to try it out anyway. My sister's guide book recommended the place as did Rough Guide 2007.
The menus were in English as well as Spanish. I decided to try a Cuban dish, fried green banana and chicken breast with coconut sauce. The fried green banana was absolutely disgusting. I felt sick trying to stuff one piece down my face. I didn't like the chicken very much either and ended up eating just a fraction. If this is authentic Cuban cuisine, I'll be struggling to find anything decent to eat on the island.

Situated on the Plazza Santa Cruz, you can stay on the terrace, or inside in two very nice rooms.
Most of the waiters speak french and english, even if tourist are not numerous, the frequentation is spanish essentially.
Favorite Dish: Salmorejo, gaspacho, solomillo de cerdo with a sauce and "entrecote" de ternera(sirloin) where very tasty and well prepared.
The wine was a splendid Ribera del Duero from 2000...35 Euros...a gift.

The restaurant is hidden away in one of the small streets of the Juderia. You enter a garden patio, lit up with candles and lanterns, very romantic. One of the tables is actually set on the brim of the old fountain (corral). It is a very lovely setting for a very special evening. The service is attentive, the maitre speaks English, French and German and the food is delicious (We live in France, so I know what I am talking about!)
The price is a little bit above average (we paid 35 € per persons for a three course menu) but you get lots of lovely memories with it.
Favorite Dish: We were a group of six, dining in the Corral, and nobody was disappointed.
Very special and absolutely to recommend were the advocado-terrine for starters, the filet steak (very thick cut and to the point), the swordfish and an astonishing Arabic desert made of grated carrots and orange juice (Yes, sounds weird, tasted deliciously)

Cafe Bar Levies is a tapa place in the Barrio Santa Cruz and it's quite popular with tourists. Smoking is allowed inside but if you don't like that, you can sit at a table on the terrace instead. Something I noticed about the food is that the portions are huge! I ordered 3 tapas and expected 3 little dishes of food like at other tapa bars, but I got 3 normal-sized plates! I'm surprised I actually finished the whole thing... The food was good though!

We ate here twice; the first time we were tired, having had arrived late, and we wandered throught the Barrio de Santa Cruz looking for the 'right place': 7 people all with a different idea of what 'right' was!
Modesto is right on the edge of the Barrio at the northern end of the Murillo Gardens, pictured here. You'll find a small square with tables outside for tapas (from 3 euros). Upstairs is a simple, attractive restaurant where nine of us ate the second night: about 12 euros a head.
A lot of local people eat here - always encouraging - and the food is delicious, including some unusual egg dishes, excellent paella, delicious meatballs, tiny broad beans.
Friendly and charming - we all liked this place. Good for a celebration or a snack.

The flamenco school I went to had a student/teacher gathering every monday evening at this cafe-bar to welcome in new students. It is on the Alameda de Hercules. The tapas were good and the place wasn't usually too busy. It wasn't my favorite tapa bar, but I still enjoyed eating there.
Favorite Dish: I tried several types of tapas and the meatball one was my favorite.
