Flea market at Estepona

by manjacat

It's a Sunday Flea Market. I was there this summer and be prepared to face the crowds and the hot weather! It was a relatively small flea market but with an interesting selection of local ceramics, espardrilles, toys and fake goods. Not exactly the cheapest place in the world but worth a walk around. I especially like the mime artist there (see picture). He was very good! And never fail to draw a huge crowd. After all the shopping, take cover in the shade and watch this talented artist work his craft.

Local shops: Tiles are everywhere ...

by shrimp56

You will see beautiful ceramic tiles in the historic buildings dating back to Moorish times. You can find a wide range of designs and prices throughout Andalucia. I wish I had bought more. .If you want to buy enough to use in a kitchen or bathroom be sure you are clear about the cost and reliability of the shipping..These are from around a fountain in the center of Seville.

My friend took me to a shop with nice fans where I bought a lovely handpainted fan -- the picture is from a museum collection in Andalucia.
