Torre del Mar's church is a modern big and modern building which can host lots of people inside. Some years ago it has air conditioning! Inside is very sober. Behind the altar there is a big crucifix and on the left the Carmelite's Virgin, the fishermen's patron.

La iglesia de Torre del Mar es un edificio grande y moderno que puede acojer a muchos fieles dentro. Desde hace algunos años tiene aire acondicionado. El interior es muy sobrio. Detras del altar destaca un gran crucifijo y a la izquierda la Virgen del Carmen, patrona de los pescadores.

It was built in 1989 and that made the town come alive. From then on Torre del Mar became the hot spot of his county, attracting lots of tourist and, consequently, the need for more shops and services arose.

Fue construido en 1989, dando vida a la población. A partir de entonces Torre del Mar se convirtió en el centro de su comarca, atrayendo muchos turistas y, por tanto, más tiendas y servicios.

Karting del Sol has two karts circuits, the adult one and the kiddies one. It has a mini golf, games area and restaurant too.

El Karting del Sol tiene dos pistas de kart, la de adultos y la de niños. También tiene un mini golf, area de juegos y restaurante.

Lo que quiere hacer todo el mundo en cualquier lugar costero del mundo es disfrutar del mar, así que... ¡ánimo! Pero tened cuidado porque se pierde pie muy pronto y el agua está algo fría.

This nice bandstand is used by the local music band, mainly in fair times, and by other kind of events too, as folclor concerts or speeches.

Este bonito quiosco de música lo utiliza la banda municipal, principalmente durante la feria, pero también se usa para otros eventos como conciertos de música folclórica o discursos.

This is the "new" light house, authomatic, electronic and photoelectric. It has 29 metres over sea level and 26 over groung. Its light has 13 nautical miles beam. It's located at the seaside walk.

Este es el faro "nuevo", automático, electrónico y fotoeléctrico. Tiene 29 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar y 26 sobre el suelo. El alcance de su luz es de 13 millas marítimas. Está emplazado en el paseo marítimo.

It's said that Torre del Mar's seaside walk is the best one in Europe. Believe it or not it's a 3 long kilometres promenade with a nice gardens, sport courts, fountains, a bandstand, "chiringuitos" and the light house.

Se dice que el Paseo Marítimo de Torre del Mar es el mejor de Europa. Lo creamos o no es un paseo de tres kilómetros de largo con bonitos jardines, canchas de deporte, fuentes, un quiosco de música, chiringuitos y el faro.

This sculture is a tribute to those men who pull out from sea the heavy dragnets. Nowadays this job is quite easier than in ancient times, where it was considered a really hard work.

Esta escultura es un homenaje a los hombres que sacaban las pesadas jábegas del mar. Actualmente este es un trabajo bastante más sencillo que anteriormente, en que era considerado un empleo muy duro.

There is the "Paseo de Larios" linking the seaside walk to the church and "Avenida de Andalucia". It's the very main downtown area and there you can enjoy lots of ice cream parlours and restaurants. The promenade have been recently restaured and it looks very nice.

Este es el Paseo de Larios, que une el Paseo Marítimo con la iglesia y la avenida de Andalucía. Este es el verdadero centro y se puede disfrutar de muchas heladerías y restaurantes. El paseo ha sido recientemente restaurado y ahora luce muy bonito.
