    One of our absolutely best things to do in Torremolinos was to walk along the PROMENADE (or Paseo as it is known in Spanish). If you are taking a walk along the promenade, it is worth exploring the streets between it and the main Benalmadena to Torrremolinos road as these are full of little bars, restaurants and shops.

    The Camino de la Playa is the wonderful white marble footpath that takes you from beach-level up into the town. There are 130 steps here, and it is quite a struggle, at first, to climb them all in one go, haha. Actually, the main reason for this is because of the magnificent views from the path.

    There is a lift which will take you about three quarters of the way up. You can see the lift tower in the photo, just to the left of the hotel. As Mary dislikes lifts, we climbed those steps every day!! Now that was some activity, I assure you!

    Mijas is a little village with lovely white houses. Its close to Fuengirola. If you want to pay it a visit take the regional train from Torremolinos to Fuengirola. Especially the little church is worthwhile visiting.

    Most of the time, on the beach some nice sand sculptures are made. Some of them are really great.

    This is another part of Torremolinos, here you find nice restaurants, bars etc. Torremolinos has a very nice beach promenade so you can walk along the beach and have a nice view at the sea.

    This is the resort that you will reach if you make a walk along the Torremolinos beach promenade. Especially the yacht harbour is magnificent.

    A very important part of Torremolinos is of course the beach. Torremolinos has nice white sandy beaches.

    Another great holiday beach resort at the Costa del Sol is Fuengirola. If you are on holiday in Torremolinos check it out. To get there take the regional train from Torremolinos to Fuengirola.
