This is a truley superb restaurant, just ask any of the local foreigners who live in Torrox!
From the road all you can see is a door and stairs disappearring down, but inside it's a really amazing courtyard with trees and a waterfall!
Just the most unusual location and the food is superb, but dress up or they'll refuse you entry!! - no football tops here!!
Favorite Dish: Everything! but especailly the sirlion steak in pepper sauce. Main meals come with potatoes, rice and perfectly cooked vegetables and only costs 12 euro!!

Plaza de la Constitucion is the very centre of Torrox and it's supposed to be the most lively area in town. In spite of this it was pretty empty when we was there, in November. The most modern cafeteria was closed and the traditional one was frequented just for retired men. We prefered to continue our trip to Torre del Mar to drink a coffe there.
La Plaza de la Constitución es el pleno centro de Torrox y se supone que la zona más animada. A pesar de llos estaba completamente vacio cuando visitamos el pueblo, en noviembre. La cafetería más moderna estaba cerrada y la más tradicional estaba frecuentada sólo por hombres jubilados. Preferimos continuar nuestro viaje hasta Torre del Mar para tomarnos un café allí.

Well we had Ice cream here , this Heladeria -Pasteleria was a clean pleasant Ice cream
Cafe restaurant.
Very nice ,and as you will see in my Ice cream travelogue the ice cream was great ,and they were BIGGGGGGGGG.

On both my visits to Torrox Costa, we went to this cafeteria / ice-cream parlour on the beach.
Favorite Dish: They have a great selection of ice-creams, just about any combination you want with a selection of different toppings.

The first time I came with Stace, we just wanted a coffee, so I looked through the promenade which place had more spanish people sitting there..... and we sat there.
We did not regret.
today with Hans and Lori we came back, and again was the busiest one, with all people from Torrox...
I recomend the ice creams!!!!!

Of the restaurants in the main Plaza, I like these two the best for their friendly staff, good food and value, and football in Manolo's (Aries) is great fun!

The Bar is on the Plaza de la constitution where you can sit in the shade have some nice salads, fish, bread cheese and ham....Very friendly people and you will meet locals to talk to.
