I was very disappointed about this town.The only thing I liked in Malaga was the Alcazaba. Originally this place was a fortress. During the half of the 11 century it was completely rebuilt and transformed into a Moorish palace. It was enlarged by the same king who built the Alhambra in Granada. Visit the Alcazaba and its gardens and do a daytrip to Benalmadena. It is a nice white village some km. far from Malaga. You could go to Marbella.

At the beach they try to fool you with lottery scratch tickets or something else. You always win and they try to pursuade you to join them to go somewhere. They try to sell you a "timeshare". Don't think you've won something, they just want your signature and your trapped for severals years. If you join them you lose a precious day of your holiday.

But it is the most famous tourist attraction in the Northern part of the province, which by the way is not very touristic.The accessto the cave is located in a picturesque village called Aracena.This picture shows nearby Tinto (Red) river.
