There are lost of Brotherhoods in Úbeda, as in any Spanish city, which take their images out of the churches during the Holy Week to commemorate the Passion of Christ. They are processions where all the brothers are dressed with tuniscs and they have their head covered with a mask while going with the images of Christ and the Virgin Mary.
Hay muchas hermandades en Úbeda, como en cualquier ciudad española, que sacan sus imágenes del templo durante la Semana Santa para conmemorar la Pasión de Cristo. Son procesiones donde los hermanos van vestidos con túnicas y llevan la cabeza tapada con un antifaz mientras acompañan a las imágenes de Cristo y la Virgen.
From the 24th April till the 5th of June is the festival international de musica y danza Ciudad de Ubeda.
All the auditoriums of the city have their moment, music from the flamenco to classical can be seen here. International dance groups come to Ubeda to join the festival too

From the 14 till the 20th June is the Festival del Renacimiento in Ubeda. I will have to miss this year.
During that week Ubeda remembers its importance during the 16th century and offers concerts, expositions related to that time. Also there are typical dinners of that century.
