Located southeast of Cadiz and Jerez and west of Algeciras and Gibraltar, TARIFA boasts ten kilometres of white sandy beaches and some of the best windsurfing conditions in Europe. This southern-most tip of Europe is where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. Stace actually showed us the area where the two bodies of water join.
Some high-lights of Tarifa are the Church of San Mateo, the Castle of Guzman ( Castillo de Guzman ) which was built in 960 A.D., Miramar Gardens and the 8th century Jerez Gate ( pictured here ).
Tarifa offers plenty of Tapas Bars and Surf Shops and it is the location of the Fast Ferry Docks which bring you from Tarifa to Tanger Morocco.
Is not only that Vejer is a very pleasant town to walk about. Sometimes waling is the only way to see some corners and narrow alleys, so leave your car outside and get lost in the laberynths of white alleys here...
you'll find many off the beaten places this way!
Vejer is situated at 200m. above sea level & just a few km. from the beaches at either El Palmar, Trafalgar Bay or Los Caños de Meca.
see Claudine, I also talk about Trafalgar and I am not english lol
Beautiful beaches, seriously
This natural Park is a small nature reserve through which the Barbate river runs .... lots of brids around (sorry not good at that lol)
