This simply & charming bar offers one of the best well known "spanish tapas". Between midday and 2.00 p.m you'll be delightful with a extense variety of all sort of tapas. You won't be able to stop eating until every one has been tasted. You must put the toothstick where the "tapa" is hooked in a little plate for the final recount of them and so get the bill. It's a place with a long history. Now renewed, it has lost a bit of its old glamour..but you'll be greatly satisfied about the athmosphere.
Most of the "tapas" are fried -long live to the cholesterol- but delicious. One of my favourite is "pimiento con chistorra rebozado" -sweet red pepper with chorizo". Descover yours!! Some dishes that are native to the Aragon region of Spain are candied fruits covered with chocolate,adoguines(caramel-filled,rectangular pastries wrapped up with paper bearing an image of the Virgin of Pilar) and conchi frito(lamb fried with lemon, garlic and paprika. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Do you know what 'tapas' means ? If you don't, you are missing the salt of the life. You can eat hundreds of different 'tapas' in hundreds of bars in my city. If you prefer restaurants, the best is La Matilde, old and small restaurant but high cuisine and prices. A little less expensive restaurant with regional dishes (migas, borrajas, ternasco asado) is El Cachirulo, and if you want to taste the old spanish fashion in restaurants test Casa Emilio or El Fuelle.
When you are hungry order 'Migas con uva' and 'Ternasco Asado con patatas a lo pobre' and don't forget a Seņorio de Lazan red wine. But, remember...You have to be very hungry to order that. If not, order Borrajas (vegetables which only grows in Aragon) and you will experiment the finest vegetables in earth. Follow it with Costillas de Ternasco, and Melocoton con Vino in the dessert. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: El Cachirulo is on the Logroņo causeway, one kilometer out the city, so is better to take a taxi (is not expensive). Remember that in Spain you do not drive after drink,THAT IS EVER VERY EXPENSIVE. L
