For those that don't fancy the climb, it is possible to get to the same point with the car. Head out from the town and follow the signs for the cemetery. Park in front of the cemetery (don't forget the hand-brake) and walk down the paved slope to the belvedere. Don' worry if you don't have a head for heights as it's just like a field up there.
A quite exhausting climb takes you up through the narrow streets to the top of one of the hills that form the amphitheatre. On the way you'll see these strange fish hanging on sticks that have been emptied and left to dry.
Just 2 km from Cudillero, n El Pito, we found the Selgas Palace Estate. The palace is surrounded by luxorious gardens in style of Versailles. Probably that's wy the entrance was closed (limited entrance?...)
The zone formed by villages that lie between the coast and the mountains is chatacterized y bucolic landscapes and rugged countryside with each village having a small chapel.
Cabo Vidio is just 10km from Cudilero. Its impressive cliffts that just out over the Cantabric Sea are rugged and in places reach heights of 100 metres above the sea level. One can enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of the coast from here while the same time to observe the native flora and fauna of the zone. It is highly reccomended and it is easy access by car.
In the evening, Cudillero becomes a pleasant and entertaining stroll once the fishing boats return the sea from their labours. The lighthouse is yet another great attraction for the visitor with incredible panoramic views of the coastline.
It is more than likely that you'll have to park by the port as parking is very limited near town, but it is a pleasant enough short walk.
This is Cudillero Lighthouse you could walk there and get a beautiful view.
You see the Cantabrico sea in all its splendor :)
As you could see in the picture Cudillero is a fisherman village, you wouldn't see spectacular boats, you only see fisherman boats and believe me they are more beautiful than the jet set boats :)
In the middle of the picture you could see a tower. It is called "mirador" where you could get an spectacular view of Cudillero.
