FIDMA- Ferria Internacional de Muestras- International Exposition and FairGrounds. It's adjacent to the Playa de San Lorenzo. They have some interesting things to see, depending on what exhibits are going on. I also remember the food being good too. I do not recall what the admission price was (but I don't think it was 'cheap'.

Stroll around the historical center and walk up to the Cerro Santa Catalina from where you´ll have a great view over the beach and the port, the city and the surrounding mountains (if the weather is nice). Then walk along the beach San Lorenzo and the promenade where there are some nice restaurants. If you like to walk continue along the promenade and go as far as you can. The landscapes and cliff formations will change along the way and there are some interesting sculptures including a sundial.

Llanes. Walk down the 'Paseo de San Pedro'. It is a short walk on the verge of the ocean, with grass and strong waves. Very relaxing. Gets kind of crowded on weekends.

Visit Picos de Europa. These are the main mountains of Asturias, and surrounding provinces of the north of Spain. This is a picture of one of the most famous mountains, el Naranco de Bulnes. It is famous because one of its sides is flat. I used a zoom to take the picture (just in case you were thinking I climbed all the way up there!).
