It was dark and damp. We were not in the town we'd intended to be. We saw a sweet looking local place with a sign that promised Cider. So, we went in and sat at a corner table and ordered cider. However, cider was only served in the cidreria which was in the lower level. So we got some wine and I checked out the lower level. It was quiet, almost empty and didn't have the street view we had from our table.
So we stayed put and were so glad we did. The bar was cozy and obviously a hangout for the locals. Customers all knew the bartender and her little daughter who was sitting at the bar doing her homework.
Favorite Dish: The food was the best part. We ordered a variety of tapas and each and every item we ate was delicious and served in large proportions.
We were happy.
BTW, as the title implies there's a posada (Inn) attached. I'm posting the website below. Check it out. Can't vouch for the rooms but I can for the food!
